The Bible says "I know Whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able
to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day."
My father died after being out of church for some eighteen years. He was
only 48 and died because a man who claimed to be a doctor gave him two
medicines that reacted against each other and stopped his heart. It was a
shock and so hard on all of us. Especially since I didn't know where he
was. This scripture was my rock to hold on to. I believe God took my dad
when it was right to do it. You see, I am Irish and my Dad who never smiled,
died witha smile on his face. The mortician could not remove it. So, there
he was lying in the casket grinning at all who saw him. A sweet saint of God
told me that he couldn't have died with a smile if he hadn't seen the face of
Jesus coming for him. I believe that. I found out later that Mom saw him
reading his Bible every night and kneeling down to pray each night before bed
for over two weeks before he died. Thus, God gave me the assurance I needed.
He will for you too.
God knew when your Mom lost her mind, He knew what the last sane thought of
Him was. He doesn't take someone who committed to Him and hold things
against them that they are too weak to help. So, my friend, be assured God
is able to keep what you commit to Him. I hope I've helped. Janet,
(Frapper's wife)
