Here is a Devotion that my youngest son James wrote tonight. I'm really proud of him, I guess he's taken after his father.
Freedom

Let me ask you one question what is freedom? Is freedom where your body is without any restrictions but your soul is a slave to sin? Or is it when your body is in shackles and your soul free by the blood of Jesus? Is true freedom where both or body is without restrictions so you can do anything you like?
Say a man goes and hurt someone and said, "I felt like It." and just walk away without saying anything else or being questioned. Is that true freedom? I say no because in that instance that man thought about hurting that person he had become a slave to sin and used his freedom to hurt an innocent person.
That is not true freedom. But Jesus can offer true freedom through his sacrifice on the cross he set us free, free from sin, free from the devil and free from eternal damnation and gave us true freedom in his love and joy. So are you truly free from the devil?
