A good devotion, but how about a devotion about getting
slapped with a dead fish?

hmmmmmmmm.......

You need:

  3 men with good humor
1 dead fish, 16 inches long (that's 17 cm for the rest of you ;-)

Guy with fish waits off-stage (so to speak) while the first man
starts talking about what it means to obey God. The second man
shows up and whacks him with the dead fish. The first man keeps
talking. The second man whacks him again. The first man begins
to look annoyed but continues. He gets whapped a third time and
the first man starts to yell at him. At this time the third man
yells "stop". Both men freeze in place. The third man yells
"rewind." The first two begin to act backwards until just before
the second fish slap. The third man shouts, "stop". Then the
third man goes to the guy who is getting slapped and reminds him
of Jesus' words: "bless those who persecute you", etc. The the
third man steps back, claps his hands and the scene replays with
the first man gets slapped two more times, but does nothing about
it. The guy with the fish then asks him why he acts that way.
This leads into a witnessing event and the fish guy gets saved.
Theatrical use of lighting can make the effect greater.
