Everyone assumes Training "teaches what we need to know" *But in fact it don't!
Rangers guard knoledge by practiceing "Need to know" as if everyone but
"Commander" is an Idiot.
There's a reason for this...In Rangers everyone assumes the leader is the expert
and wise beyond years..
That is why you must *MUST listen-up!
SHHHHH! COMMANDER IS YABBERING!
I call this style of leadership- "Leader-Led"
*The thing is ...that the worst way to transfer knoledge is by lecture of a
Girzzly-bear to
a cyote pup!~ (a young ranger) Test this yur self<G> Tell the boys something
important
in a normal voice... *It don't work.<G> Trasfering "knoledge" requires the
intrest of the
reciever! When they WANT TO KNOW they will pester you to death!
How do you do that?
----------------------
*Start with questions about who you would willingly follow...
*Name the characteristics of that person.. their wisdom, judgement, sence of
fairness..
and perhaps you will begin to see we have the whole program up-side down<G>
"Training should wise you up!"
Your job is to avoid this "BEAR-TRAP!" of traditional Ranger mind control<G>
Your tools are your ability to *Look *Watch and listen... to the "signals the
boys give!"
Find the resources they want to learn about- *whatever and give them a full
meal!
...*make it a balanced meal of good stuff.. found by asking at every point how
the
4 gold points of the Ranger emblem can be applied-
1. How does this bless the boys MENTALY
2.What can we do to increase the SOCIAL -abilities of everyone
3.Will the boy be better PHYSICALY after this presentation of "knoledge"
4. And- *How does this raise our *SPIRIT?
*LISTEN REFLECTIVELY- and hold the Ranger CODE up as your map..
A Ranger is: *These beautiful things!
ALERT
CLEAN
HONEST
COURAGEIOUS
LOYAL
COURTIOUS
OBEDIENT
SPIRITUAL
Find your Outpost goals in the Ranger pledge!
At NTC we held a "Orienteering backpack trip"
We left from a known point- and traveled to another, but then came back!
*It allways this way- Come Home! Come Back.. and find your 'meaning
is right where you started at a loveing home church and alive Ranger outpost!
*with God's help- I will do my best to serve-
God...
My Church...
My fellow man...
To LIVE by the Ranger code and make..
Matt:7:12 come alive in my heart!~
the only draw back is his gets all the training and all I can do is read his
> notes. Why don't they have a type of advanced training (ex: NTC) for

You've got much of the Training allready- *If you can minister encouragement to
a lost Ranger on the way to the GMA.. There is no secrets in Rangers.. it's all
hard work<G>
And a joyfull heart does good like a Medicine!
*Play hard-
*Play fair-
*Respect others
Love God with all you heart-body-and mind...
and love and *prefere others to yourself!
