I've been playing Sax for over 29 years, the last 15 for the Lord.
I can't tell you how much playing for the Lord has blessed me. I think it
has kept me on the right track all these years. In the last few years I've
been taken it with me to Pow-Wow's. It's not as effective as a Trumpet for
reveille and taps, but it still makes it point. It also adds to the praise
and worship around the fire. We have a great praise and worship band at
church, and are starting an outreach band also. I think that Commanders
that have musical talent should put it to use in your outposts. Don't be
afraid if you make a mistake, just remember that it's for the Lord that you
play not for the people.
