I really like to do those Sunday Outings. Our outpost went up on a local
mountain yesterday where there is a state park called Monte Sano State Park.
It is filled with many hiking trails. Each hiker brought his own lunch and
after hiking a mile we stopped and ate lunch. However the best thing about
the hike was it was a fund raiser for a missions project. The boys had
received pledges for each half mile hiked. We hiked 5 miles total and if all
pledges come in it will come to about $600.00
Sunday afternoon outings are the answer to keeping the outpost active.
