Our youth pastor has an earring in each ear his hair is spiky with blond
streaks he has a goatee, and amongst many of his attention getting outfits is
a gold lame` suit with matching shoes.

The youth group is so on fire they have a dance and drama team, to go on
there ski trip they worked at Mavericks and Rangers games and raised $17,000
for their trip and their sets and lighting for their stage. They took their
show on the road and have been invited to perform this summer at Rod
Parsley's church and Jessie Duplantis' church.

I believe they look at their uth pastor (Eric Bearden) and they see someone
who looks at them with absolutely no condemnation. HE jumps up and down with
them at the front of the church they sing dance shout and lay \hands on each
other and fall out all over the place. They hold nothing back - I think part
of the reason they can do this is because Eric holds nothing back.

At one of our Indian themed day camps one of our commanders went so far as to
shave his head into a mohawk (I guess he was a Mohican (sp?)).

So if unusual hair helps in ministry go ahead. One of my favorite
Christians, Super Dave, has the side of his head shaved a pierced eyebrow,
tongue and ears, he is on the lighting for the drama team. He gives me the
biggest hugs and is as sweet as can be and when the Lord says it is time he
will say Super Dave, it is time to reach another group of my children.

Just my overinflated .02
