My church just switched to tile from carpet.
Easier maintenance and cleaning, plus it doesn't collect smells and hold them
like carpet does over time.

This may be somewhat of a strange
request but my Pastor recently came to me and asked if I had a preference
between carpet or tile in our fellowship hall. Our Ranger meetings are in
rooms adjacent to our fellowship hall which we use for activities and games
almost every week. We now have carpet in this room but as we also have dinners
and food in there it is hard to keep clean. Tiling this area would make it
easier to clean but there is a concern about the noise level and also a fear
that boys could be injured during physical activities. I told my pastor that I
would see if there is anyone out there with a similar situation that could
tell me if they prefer carpet or tile. Thank You for your
response.
