Or, how about the part where Jesus came to John, the Baptizer, and John, (who knew from the womb that his cousin was the Christ), told Jesus as he was baptizing him to renounce His sin and be cleansed. Jesus does not need to be cleansed, especially from sin. In fact, the Bible tells us that John said that it was him (John) that was in need of baptism from Jesus, not the other way around. Jesus was baptized so that all righteousness would be fulfilled. It seems like the creators of this film are trying to bring Jesus down to our level to make Him more appealing to the masses.
