Well all I have to say is they had better send me an Aircraft Carrier in this story.
However, we have been trying to put aside money for Uniforms, Bible College for me, and so on and so forth. Well we have not been doing well and things have been getting us over our heads. With 6 kids on the weekend it get really tight on a military budget. Well we have got a list a mile long trying to get out from under. But the best part of this is God has been helping our family bit by bit. I will say the majority of this falls on me. We had not been doing well on Tithing our earning. We have had so much to pay off and everything else. We took a step of faith and started tithing no matter what right before we get our check from the military and things have been getting better. God has been opening doors for our family and it has been nice to be able to do more for our children. Because of this that the Lord is doing for our family I am this week taking to the Senior Commander and the Pastor of our church an Idea for a Scholarship fund for the boys in our church that would help the boys and girls in our church to be able to go to functions without having to worry about the money to send them. The Missionettes in our church are going for an overnighter and it is going to cost $40.00. Our daughter gets to go for half off due to the fact she helped with there fund raiser and was the top seller. However I know that there are families that are not going because they don't have the money and that hurts me. I would love to tell a family. Pack your sons gear for this campout and if there is anything that he needs for JLTC that he needs call me and we will ensure he has it to barrow. We will pick him up at this time and bring him back at this time and he has been paid for.
That is what I feel in my heart. I know I wont be able to send my son this year to JLTC but there is on in our outpost I would love to send. I cant do it by myself. So I am going to ask for help from all those in the church. Not just for the boys but the Girls also. Please pray for us that the Lord will have his way in this endeavor.

Conversely... does God really need any help providing?
Reminds me of the story of the man in a great flood. As the waters rose, he
was asked to join a life boat to take him to safety... but he declined,
knowing that God would see him though. Again, a boat came by as the water
rose... offered, but declined. As the water rose to the roof a helecopter
flew overhead and threw down a ladder for him to climb to safety.. but he
still refused, knowing that his faith in God would see him out of the
situation.
He drowned.
In heaven, the first question he asked Peter at the pearly gates (BTW.. just
WHO made Peter the gatekeeper in heaven?? hehe ) ... I digress...
Anywhoo... the first question was "I don't understand it! I had great faith
that God would see me through but he still let me parish! WHY???
Peter said... "I don't understand it either! We sent two boats and a
helecopter!"
