They use to go on the LMA as far back as 70's that I know and stayed there until about 5 years ago I think when they got rid of them.  They signified that the leader completed class 5.    They are only for people that want them.  Right now the only thing that goes on the LMA is a 1 2 or 3.  If you are interested in getting rid of them Let me know I have a couple of people that would like to get there hands on them.   William A.
