The Junior Guide Program is another effective method for teaching leadership 
responsibilities.  Here a boy__ Pioneer Trailblazer or challenger Assist as a junior 
guide in an age group younger than his own.  He will learn the roleof leadership while 
maintaining his position asa pioneer, Trailblazer, or challenger.  

The Junior guide Program must be coordinated with the senior Commander the boy 
Commander and the Commander whom the  boy will be assisting.  The junior guide will 
follow the direction of the commander with whom he will be working with.  By doing so 
he will learn and practice leadership techniques and responsibility.

The junior guide will wear a special insignia for his duties while training as a 
junior leader,  He wil;l be able to advance by studing junior leadership and by taking 
training at a district Junior Leadership Training Camp.  These skills will enable the 
junior guide to one day be an outpost commander.
