Is this coming from someone who has been there; or just another voice in crowd?
I don't think that is always the case.
When I came to SOMO. I had alot of ideas I wanted to do
with the boys.  On the other hand the Sr. Commander basicly said " This is the way things are. This is how they're going to be."  How easy would it of been to cause "burnout" from his attitude?
I'll admite there have been times I wanted to walk out and sit with the adults. Why? The boys were acting up. You couldn't get nothing done, ect. But  it really hits home when I give a devotion and the boys responded to calling.
One of my most remembered nights in Rangers was when we prayed for each boy to receive the Holy Spirit.
When we first started, the boys were talking. By the time
we were finished. You could hear a pin drop.
