Hay Rangernet,

Back from the fifty miler and boy I'm glad to be back!<G>

The trip went about 1\4th of Washington, USA on the "Pacific Crest Trail" starting at
"Crest Camp" and ending at the end at "The Bridge of the Gods."

This hike was more then I expected up and down forever. With me I packed an enternal
frame pack that weighed 33lbs. which is over 29.5% of my body weight.

The food I ate for a week (Sun morn. to Fri 2:00) was mostly Freezed dried "Mountain
House" that tasted horable and soupy oh well it kept ya alive for that day I guess<G>.
Lunch was "Beef Jerky" and trail mix with water. for my hike at around 1500 to 3200
ft. four liters or maby four Quarts of water was good. though I only could carry two.
So me and the other 12 scouts with me pumped from our water filters the other two
quarts every day the same routine.

For most of the days hiking we went 10 to 15 mi. a day (only because This month is our
record HEAT so all the springs were dry and you can't camp at a "Dry" camp....) any
way hike, hike , hike until we droped at our camp then..
