IT is a totally Awsome acadmey. It is a 4 year program. Year 1 the boys do JLTC.
The second year it Junior Training Trails. Then the Junior Survial Camp or the Junior
Canoe Expedition. Then it is the other camp that you have not completed. They run
all 4 camps at the same time. The boys at the end of their 4th camp receive a
saber(Calvery) with their name engraved on it and their favority Bible verse on it at
a special Banquet. We have guys come as far as Alaska and Arazonia to attend these 4
camps. This year the camps ranu the week prior to our Rangercamp(Pow-Wow). Ralph
Allen is the corridinator of the program and would be happy to let boys come to this
from other areas. This coming September I will be attending the Staff School for the
Junior Leadership Training Academy. Josh Wheeler may have more information about the
camps. God Bless

Subject: [RR] Academy

I was reading an article in the Summer 2000 High Adventure about the Junior
Leadership Training Academy in the Northwest District. I'd really like to
hear more about this academy, what it involves, and any other details anyone
can provide.

I'd also like to hear about any other similar training camps for boys that
any other districts hold.
