New Jersey District is holding its 6th annual Royal Rangers Advancement
Academy August 13 to 19 at Camp Roosevelt, Elmer, NJ. Cost is $140 boys
receive 18 meals served cafeteria style, 2 academy T-shirts, 1 academy hat,
and patch. Daily,
we have 3 sessions of classes 2 hrs 40 minutes each to work on Merits.
Pioneers must be 10 years of age with Powder Horn advancement. They work on
advancements Mon, Tue, and Wed. Thu and Friday, they work on Merits. If a
Pioneer has all his advancements, he may work on Merits. Recreation is
offered daily between the second and supper. After the third session, we
have an evening Council Fire service that includes fun songs, worship music
and excellent messages that conclude with prayer around the council fire.
Our speaker (5 years now) is Rev. Brent Buck of Horseheads, NY.
We are looking for 15 year old Jr. Leaders with a GMA or having completed
JLTC. Must have his pastors recommendation. There is no fee for Jr. leaders.
