Last night the Holy Spirit took over services and pastor never preached.
Four souls made first time decisions last night. One of them was my
daughter Hannah (seven years old). No one laid hands on her. I was down
front praying and she came and sat next to me and the Holy Spirit just fell
all over her. "Hannah, it's ok it's just Jesus." What a joy to have her
sitting in my lap and excepting Jesus into her heart as tears streamed down
her sweet face.
Also we have a young man, Brian ( 19) living with us (he had no home) and
yesterday he said he had something for me that someone had given him. It
was a joint, "I didn't smoke any Kelly, Now I know how strong God has made
me.". I gave it to pastor last night as a praise report. Brian has been
bounced around from home to home used to be a satanist, has been in an
institution and used to sell drugs. Last night it was prophesied that he
would one day be an evangelist.
Last night Pastor declared a church wide fast for to day for the holy Spirit
to fall on our festival Tuesday as if did in our service last night.
I am not trying to get another OCT 31st string going. I just want to say
that six of us ladies went out on the streets Saturday to tell people about
Tuesday night and to had out pamphlets that talk about the various
ministries Faith Crossing has to offer and we met a lady with 1, 2, and 3
year olds. Her husband is in the military and has been gone for a while.
She last week was the worst week of her life and I asked her if we could
pray for her and she was crying and we prayed and it was wonderful the way
the Holy Spirit falls in the middle of an apartment parking lot.
We have several praise and worship teams coming including one Spanish team
from Christ For the Nations to usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Please pray that we who will be working Tuesday will not be caught up in
the festivities, but that we will be bold in sharing the gospel of Jesus and
that indeed the holy spirit will fall and take over as it did Sunday if not
in greater power and glory. We are claiming souls. We have reaped a
harvest every year, but this year we desire to be astounded.
Finally we (the Church) singed papers to sell our land (14 acres across
from Town East Mall) so we will no longer be under the burden of that land
payment and our offer has been approved exactly as we put it forth for a new
building. So far everything has been donated (including labor) except for
carpet and ceramic tile. However, I know God will provide these things as I
know we don't have to settle!
Look out devil here we come, you better run and hide. Hallelujah!
Yes I am excited about what God is doing, and I know this is just the
beginning.
