More thoughts on the "sales pitch"<G>

Decide ahead of time what real commimtment you want to see
that would be a "win" for you... discuss with the person who
is most interested in the Ranger program, as to what level of
commitment you are targeting.

If it is a solid "join night" then suggest you will not leave without
some signed-up pledges to head the Op council and lead the
groups! *If that is the case then here is what I suggest:

On a big poster board outline the availible jobs needed to get
the Outpost off the ground. Make it like a table of orgainazation,
and list the names of those allready "on-board"...

*Point at the "job" of OP council chairman and preach the job!
*Stop... and wait a moment and ask politely for someone to "accept"
the challenge!

When Bro. "So and so.." Raises his hand<G> *BUST OUT A CHEER!
*Thank you Jesus, for this act of commitment!

"Now folks.. Bro. Soand so needs a secretary for the OP council, and
they just do a one page newsletter of Outpost activities and handle some
paperwork ect. It's EASY! *Who can hadle that job?

*Stop- wait and look serious!

(*I will!) BOOM! Bust out in a cheer and dance around!! YAHOO!!

Keep it up till you make yur GOAL<G>
