Use the camp as a training camp as you suggest, but make sure all the tasks
are on the Camping Merit, and so forth.... Knocking two birds with one
stone, so to speak.

Works wonders with the boys, and they have something to show for it at the
end.

Blessings,

Andy.

Subject: [RR] SA ?

I have a question (I'm not officially a CMDR till next week), Senior CMDR
Dewayne Ivy and CMDR Chris Gist are hosting a Day Camp on Dewayne's property
next month. It's purpose is to set up a mock camp so the Pioneers will be
ready for the trips to be held later in the year. Is there a patch or a
merit
of some kind that we can award the participants? I want to encourage them
as
much as possible.

Any suggestions as to how I should conduct my first SA meeting? My son Joel
(Buckaroo) last night told them I was the best CMDR. Now I have to live up
to
it. Help!
