Monday my mother in law came to my home at midnight. My niece was on her way to the hospital ER. She had taken something and said my daughter Jessie had given to her. So we woke her up to see if she had given Sarah something and what is was to help the Drs. Jessie said no and we woke her twice to make sure. I found out later the same evening it was Heroin. I prayed to God Lord don't just guide me, be in me, speak through me when I talk to her. So I confronted Jessie. Jessie has slightly deformed feet and hands and it is all because 20 years ago I was stupid! Every time I see her feet I feel horrible. I told her She more than any one has no right to endanger the life of some she hasn't yet met and will love more than life and she should know this every time she see her hands and feet. She said she gave Sarah something and that they split it that night (last WED) she didn't know what it was but it couldn't have been what sent Sarah to the ER (this I believe). I told her she had to make some decisions. Last night an evangelist Barney Barnett gave an altar call so I went down to pray for Sarah and Jessie (I already asked the youth group staff to pray for them along with every prayer warrior I know). The comfort of the holy spirit was all over me. When we got in the car to go home Jessie told me Sarah was the one who would have to attend grown up church (I told her we would separate them) and that she was not going to miss youth group because SHE GOT SAVED TONIGHT! When she told my husband he just said "Welcome to the Family." Last night she hugged him good night for the first time since she moved back in with us in August. I give God all of the Glory. Never ever give up on your kids. That's two people I love in the last 1 1/2 months that have gotten saved (my dad got saved 4 days before he died) and my son's best friend who has joined the pioneers got saved last Sunday! God's grace is covering my family and I give him glory.
