I agree. We are using evangelism, but these ministries span from preschool
through high school. I would pray that we are discipling the children and
trying to reach them where they are. I personally feel that while there is
a time to put boys and girls together, there also needs to be some time
spent apart from the other sex. Men and women are "wired"
differently....that's God's design. Just as we have Men's Ministries and
Women's Ministries, we also need both Royal Rangers and Missionettes.

Mike, I feel that you are slightly off target. Its not ALL about
evangelism. Its about discipleship too. We all have opinions on the BEST
way to disciple children. No sincere approach is wrong, but there are
superior approaches. Opening a heated discussion on this issue shouldn't
be threatening, it should be invigorating! Other people CARE about the
programs!
I affirm the diversity that has been expressed these past few weeks. I
hope it continues.
