This is really beginning to get childish.
First if Vise-President Gore thought he won the state of Florida and he
really wanted to prove it he should have asked for a STATE WIDE recount.
Second If you punch an incorrect chad on a ballot why didn't the people go
and request a new ballot, if you punch two chads you vote becomes void.
That's not a new rule it been that way for YEARS. As is the fact that if for
some reason you don't make a clear punch your vote becomes void. People need
to pay more attention to the ballots and to who they were voting for. Also
if the ballot was difficult to understand why didn't they ask for help to
clarify the ballot from the voting officials at the voting stations? The
votes are only legal if they vote for one presidential candidate. Votes are
legal if the CLEARLY denote who they are voting for. If Vise-President Gore
really thought he won Florida then why didn't he fight for a standard way to
recount votes? leaving it up to each precinct is not the correct way. And
someone PLEASE tell me how anyone could look at a punch card and say well I
THINK they were going to vote for this person or that person? It's over now,
I think as CHRISTIANS we need to stop this childish arguing about who won
and who lost and really start PRAYING for our country and our leaders.
Because by the looks of things we are going down hill fast.

The reason Al Gore lost is because machines make mistakes. The reason Al
Gore lost is because George Bush wouldn't let these AMERICAN VOTERS votes be
counted. These are legal votes, the machine would not count them. Funny
thing though, the machines did not make as many mistakes in the heavy
Republican counties. The reason Al Gore lost is because up to 10,000
ILLEGAL votes HAVE been counted in Seminole county. WHY, WHY, WHY does
George bush not want legal votes counted and illegal ones thrown out. He
has protested both. It doesn't matter who you vote for, what matters is who
has the most appointees. Then again his brother did promise him the state
no matter what it took?????
