Mark, The best Royal Ranger fundraiser I was ever a part of was a trashathon. We obtained sponsorship on a per pound basis of trash that we picked up along the highway. So, not only did we earn money, but we did a service to our community, earned trapper's brigade points, and helped the boys out with advancements. Attatched is a sample form from another outpost. We earned $2500 in one weekend, actually, on one Sat. One sponsor gave $.25 for eachpound of trash we picked up, which was 1000lbs. It doesn't take long to pick up 1000lbs of trash.
