I was watching the "perfect outpost" do a Christmas present exchange
game called "robbers christmas" where each boy has a number and
picked a present from the pile... (34 boys BTW) and then as the game
progressed you may select a wrapped gift or "take" from those that you
can see... for up to three rotations on each gift and then they are
"frozen"
or "played out"

What I watched was the difference in the adults vs. the "boys"...

The boys would allow themselves to "rev up" and found interesting
sub games to play on each other, scraping and making noise...
polite as well as obscene noise<G>

Adults could only take this so long before we became "stressed"
and barked the "control word"<G>

*First "new thought"--- LIFE IS LOUD, DEATH IS QUIET
------------------------

(as I typed this "Marvin" a brain injured 56 year old buddy who
washes the dishes for the Law school came up to ask what I was
typ'n to Y'all and... lately I run a Internet media connection to
Hawaii radio. It started a classic Hula song and we started to
HULA!<G> It "interrupted" my business<G>"

*New Thought #2---- LIFE INTERRUPTS YOUR PLANS...
THE TIME TO HULA IS WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE IT!
(God may not grant you another opportunity! *back to the
main thought<G>)

The Adults in the room acted with restraint... the boys acted their
'age<G> and that got me wondering about that<G>

*I went to my "core" values and reflected on what I knew with
'critical thinking" and came up with this!-

*Like "pups" boys do not think very far ahead.

*Like old dogs- "Men" slow down and sleep a lot<G>
*Real old dogs- "Grandpa's" lose some of the flex in their brains
to remember the beauty and significance of moments that they
once cherished... Likewise as a "bliss" comes from a release of
painful memories, of struggle or loss... so also goes some of the
"groove" or "funk"<G>

Young men, suddenly come of age... and come to their "senses"
and for a brief time, they may meet the "Man" for an exchange
of significant thoughts<G> thus perpetrating the culture or family
heritage<G> (good or bad) *as... the "control" fades from the older
gentleman...

THOUGHT!
-------------
AS LIFE GIVES- IT TAKES, ....and we are in for the ride of our lives!
