Reminds me of the time we were coming bak from holiday and the water pump went on the car while we were on the motor(free)way. The first miracle was that my wife was able to push it to a point where I could drive it off (She could not drive at the time and getting towed off the motorway is *very* expensive). We pulled up in a layby and I arranged with my sister to get a tow back to home. there was a cafe-caravan in the layby and another car was parked there. I had never had to tow a car before in my life and before he left this man explained the finer points of towing. If he had not I doubt if we would have made it back safely (even then it was a close run thing <g>). My wife commented later that he could have been an angel.

On another occasion my dad was on holiday with my stepmum. He had a history of heart problems and he collapsed. All of a sudden a man appeared out of the crowd and gave him the necessay treatment until an ambulance crew arrived. He then disappeared. While he was in hospital I managed to arrange for him to be visited by a christian sister (it was quite a distance from home). She reminded him of God and though he never made an overt declaration of conversion there were certain things that he said that still give me hope that I will meet him in heaven.

Rick, did you ever stop to think that this fellow might have been an angel.
Reading that paragraph made me think of that. Ask Duane, he and his wife know
about that because it happened to them.

*True-

I'll just say it straight..
While I was on my Wilderness vigil all night with JFlory..  it was
reqiuired that I leave my family in camp. They decided to go to
town in my old Jeep.   This town was 900 miles away from home,
and when they went to start the Jeep it would not fire...

A "dred or heavyness" came on them called "I don't know what to do"

*Cdr.Jen and Josh began to pray...   As they looked up, accross the street
in Aryo Grande, a man walked directly over, and introduced himself as
a "mechanic who is down here from Washington state for a visit... Pop
the hood and let me look at it.."

They did, and he quickly "did something" and the Jeep started right up and
idled<G>  As Josh went to close the hood and Jen tried to say "Thanks"
he vanished..

One time, I was between jobs during the Reagan resission in 1980 sumbthing..
I managed to break my leg playing softball and had it in a cast. I had applied
for what I thought was the perfect job in a small school district out in the
woods... and on a perticular date I was to call in for a "decision"

That day happened to fall on a preplanned vacation trip to lake Tahoe
in the Sierras, and I went and we camped and I called from a pay phone
by "Fallen leaf lake"

*I didn't make an interview or earn a pleasent word of encouragement.

I felt lower than a whales rudder, and kind of numb from the "let-down"
and I hobbeled over with my broke leg to sit on the beach...  Down the
side of  the lake came a man..  He stopped and spoke to me.

"It's hard to ignore the beauty that surrounds us here... but people
do all the time.  We are the lucky ones to be here and share this
view of God's wonderment. To think he made all this... and has
a plan for each of  our lives... makes me happy. How about you?"

*I looked back and said: "Yup, it's a beautiful day, and Thanks.."

The man walked off, and I felt the gloom lift<G>

Youd did learn a great lesson by not trying to cram salvation down peoples
throats. God will give the opportunity but it takes the Holy Spirit to bring
conviction before people will accept salvation. You seem to be taking the
right approach.
Merry Christmas
