If you read the post I just made, you will find that there is a lot more
here than a one day camp. Believe me I know and I just wrote a very
successful DC and put a lot of hard work into it. But this will be over the
top. One week will be a mystery theme. One week My husband is going to be
Mr. Habersham a homeless man. The kids will not know who he is as he is
very good with make up. During this week the children are going to be
thought on giving and selflessness. One day he will be laying asleep by the
door of the Church. Another he will be diggin in the trash. Mr. Habersham
will pop up in the most unexpected places and oh he's going to be grimy,
hungry and probably not very pleasant smelling. This has been a very
successful theme as at another church Mr. Habersham was given clothing and
food and money ($200.00) by the children that they earned or asked their
parents for.
WE are very excited. Seriously these Day Camps are a God idea. He would
not have started this if he did not want it or if there was going to be a
problem with funds. Don't forget there will be scholarships.
