*I'm "with" you right there<G>
You see, many times I've been part of Ranger events where no "fun"
song, novelty or western was ever sung. *Not to 'fault the songmaster
for his *spiritual agenda, We sang lighthearted childrens church tunes,
and the boy's have grow to not miss these generic "camp" songs...
*Please don't fault me for enjoying as a young Ranger singing- "The
Old grey Mare" or "On top of Spagetti, all covered with cheese<G>"
But you may assume, I knew that we quit that when some good intentioned
brother in the Lord insisted with passion that they were a waste of Gods
time before the boys... *(sometimes folks don't get where I'm comming
from, but mark me that I beleve the Ranger emblem was intended to be in
balance... with the 4 red points as equal) *I may find I am wrong in
this,
by the evolution of time, and abandonment of Cdr.Johnnies "Whole Boy"...
We honestly don't have a "problem" with the *spiritual point.....
Where we lack in *program is Mental,Physical, and Social...
