I have been blessed in this regard. I do not work late on Wednesdays. On
the rare occasion that I do it is for the attorney I work for (I support two
attorneys) who is a worker in his church. If he asks me to work late on a
Wednesday, I know it is important. When I said I was going to be late as I
was participating in "See You At The Pole" I received no resistance. In
fact they were praying for me when they heard about the Fort Worth shooting.
The key is to be a good steward on the job. Show up on time, if not early,
don't watch the clock while you're at work, and if you are needed to work
late do it without complaining (after all God is blessing you with Overtime
pay rates). It's simple.
You don't have to make it a Christian persecution issue. Make it a personal
issue. Be overly conciensious at work, earn favor, and you will be blessed,
going in and going out.

I'm not sure, but this brings a thought to my mind spoken to me a while ago.
Do any of you have problems getting off work for a special church function,
or something like that? It seems that other religions can get off the hook
easier sometimes (this may not always be true, it depends on your place of
employment) and we have to ask and ask and ask. This, in my opinion, will
be multiplied and blown way up during the Tribulation. Already some people
dislike Christians because of the way some people, who may or may not be
Christians, act. Just a thought. Opinions welcome.

All,
Need your help.
At work a guy told its law that a boss must give Sunday
off to those who attend church. Is there any truth in any of this? I don't
mind working Sundays but just wanted to know
if he was messing around or telling the truth.
Thanks,
