Howdy!

Ready for a REVOLUTIONARY thought?

Recent media reports are such that Boy Scouts funding from
secular sources are under review for BSA stalwart stand for
strong moral values.

Criticizum from Royal Ranger's has been based on BSA secular
tone to comply with funding resrictions..

US President GW Bush proposes funding with federal monies..
"faith based" *programs that develop character and serve the
communities without linkage to religious requirements.

BSA strongly backs a duty to Gos and active involvement of a boy
in his church and his Youth group.

*Both offer the God and Country religious faith training course..

Many Royal Ranger Outposts are finding it difficult to maintain
an older boy Trailblazer/Trailranger outpost and support the
local youth group fully..

Boy Scout have 90 years of success with the 11- 18 year old
boy and have national outdoor training facilities and high
adventure camps in place. BSA has used the Patrol system to
develop character and train boys in Leadership and personal
responsibility. *If the Eagle award represents un-questioned
values that we can support, why do we not open our hearts for
Royal Rangers to somehow build a bridge to the Eagle?

READY?
------

(*Question)

Could Royal Rangers meet it's mission by becomeing a
recognized option to equal the Cub Scout program and
meet the standards given for the Cub Scout arrow of light?

*Then at 11-12 could Royal Rangers choose BSA in full
measure with a Assembly of God doctrineal award that
represents a condensed understanding of Royal Ranger core
values?

Respectfully submitted..

Yours for the boys!
