PFC Mitchell Silvers is confirmed as a Royal Ranger
under 18 who enlisted in the USMC late 1967 and was
killed in hostile actions Jan.25 1968 while a member
of 3rd batt. 1st.Marines in RVN..

Several members of the Rangernet patrol are following
the progress of discovering further links to those that
might have served with Mitch in combat. The objective
is not to add or enhance on the facts, but to explain
the nature of his supream sacrifice, and to stand as
guardians of his memory.

Today, We received a link and follow-up to his Commanding
Officer J.E.Regal Lt.Col. USMC retired. Co."K" Marine 3/1
has a duty to remember every Marine that served with their
unit. Marines take a pledge to never forget.. to "remain
faithful"

I believe as you do that Royal Rangers is a "Lifetime Adventure"
and regrettably report that we have many "missing in action"
and have left many behind in our common cause. If we were
to act in ministry to boys, we should likewise pledge to remember
the boys... especialy those that have served us well.

The act of getting to know your Rangers is a high priority
linked to the raiseing of MORALE and is an indicator of
effective leadership.

Thanks!
