Those "sinners" all died 100 years ago.  It's a piece of cloth with
historical value.  Besides, slavery was an institution under the US Flag also
(yes, with fewer stars - but still the same flag) so maybe we should get rid
of Old Glory too!  The "flag" was not a symbol of slavery - it was a battle
flag that represented what a large population of people thought to be a very
relevant issue - STATE'S RIGHTS.  maybe we shouldn't fly the Texas flag
becasue it might offend the Mexicans...

The War between the states needs to be gotten over - Apologies have been made
thousand of times over and need to end.  Besides many of you probably still
hold very similar values to the REAL issues that started the war - slavery
only became an issue well after it started.

Yes, slavery was wrong - but I don't own any - my ancestors did - but I don't
need to apoligoze for their wrong - or agonize over them.
