I had a different type of danger this past week. While working on a
Customers Phone Line.... He told me 3 times he had to take his Husband
to work. The third time I heard it I was pretty confused. I said excuse
me, I thought you were a boy. He replied he was a boy. I said I see
your just a little confused.

Day 1.
I installed the line verified both lines working explained to the
confused customer how to plug in his computer and left. That night at
the work center I discussed the situation with most of my crew members.
They all agreed I was confused as well. Some just shook their head
others told me I was asking for it.....others told me I could have said
alot worse. Well I was raised in good ole middle USA where I was taught
a Man could be a Husband to a female. I was taught that a Woman could be
a wife to a male. So I didn't feel real bad about inquiring about the
boy taking his husband to work and my comment of him being confused.

Day2
My supervisor was off the this day. My first job low and behold
preassigned to me by my bosses counterpart. She insisted I would go back
out to this customer so I could close the tickets with codes that
wouldn't give her a bad checkmark, this customber whom I had already
determined was very confused. He and is husband had called back in 2
more trouble reports on the two lines I had installed the day before.
Both reports stated they had no dialtone. I immeaditlyy requested
someone else go out on this report. At worst send a coworker who
wouldn't be offended by my confused pair to talk with them while I did
anywork that needed done. (I have had to do this only a few times in 23
years most of the time It is I helping others.) My bosses counterpart
decieded she knew better and refused to send a coworker with me. She
wanted to go out on it with me. Ok fine we made the visit at 1 in the
afternoon. Upon them opening the door a wall of smoke hit me in the
face. The first thing they said as they were dangling half burnt cigs
that if I didnt like the smoke they could put them out.... I replied well
I quit smoking about 13 years ago, put em out.

That was the extent of my interaction with them. My boss's counterpart
spent a great deal of time with them. Inquiring about things and in the
process of this they told her that I had told him that he was slightly
confused about his husband. She soon returned and told me they were just
people that were a little different. I told her their life style was an
abomination to God and they were still very confused. She also commented
how can two men have a daughter and then later that evening said she
washed her hands after she got back to the workcenter. These two guys
were sick.

Day 3
My bosses counterpart makes indications that my personal beliefs should
be comprimsed while I was on the job with the Phone Company. She said
they pay me a wage and ecentally own me while I am on the clock....she
said basicly everything but you need to comprimise your beliefs. After
several short remarks and my insistance that I would not comprimise my
beliefs I got very vocal with her and told her. She nor her boss nor her
bosses boss nor the President of this company could make me comprimise my
beliefs. Pierod. As she was yelling back at me accross a room full of
co-workers I left. I learned latter that day I could plan on a BIG
Meeting on Monday. Monday went by.

Tuesday morning. My bosses counterpart came up to me and said you are to
be here at 8:15. I replied my boss who was in the other room has said
nothing about it and has given me 2 jobs to go out on. I left the work
center and called my wife to call others to start praying for me as this
could be a very serious matter. As my friends and christian family
prayed.

We meet at 8:30. She had typed up a version of what happend and 6 of us
sat in a meeting to decied my fate. I was asked what happend and I
explained in detail what had taken place very calmly. After two hours
what could have been anything from a suspension to a formal letter of
reprimand or worse. She had suggested that I and others in my workcenter
attend a alternative lifestyles siminar. That is when the light was
turned on for my bosses boss who right away stated that was not going to
happen. I was asked to leave the room while they discussed the outcome.
I was asked to pledge to give good quailty service and not argue with
management in a open room full of employees. I pledged as I had in the
past to do so.
The Union Steward that was representing me told me that was the first
time he has ever saw a case like this turned around from Positive
Disipline to a plege to try to do better.

In the 23 years I have worked in this field I have possibly worked in
over a 1000 gay or lesibians homes. In that time I have had too many
experiences that I would rather not have have seen nor heard. In that
time I have provided the services that the company I work for requires
with little to no conflict. However, in the past 13 years since I became
a Christian I will say I am a lot less tollerant of this lifestyle. In
this case I told God if I needed to be reprimanded by my company then let
it be so. If I did what he wanted me to do to take a stand and stand for
what is right then back me up. In this case I feel kinda like daniel.
Thank you LORD!

I prayed this morning going into work for those two men and their
daughter. As it hurt me in my spirit I know it has to grieve God that
people can be so reprobate. God forgive me. Holy Spirit I ask you
convict these two of what they are doing. Thank you Jesus for taking the
sin of my life and covering it by your scarifice for me.

Becareful little eyes what you see, becarefull little ears what Your
hear, Becarefull little mouth what you say.
Else be READY for ANYTHING!
I love being a rompin stompin child of the KING!

he's under my feet, he's under my feet, satan is under my feet! STOMP
STOMP!

Thanks for listening. Pray for me. I know I have a lot of growing to do.
