We did this as North and South Sectional. We had almost 50 boys there.
Turn out was great. We have one scheduled again for November.
We offered Law Enforcement, Citizenship, Computer Science and Light 4 the
Lost Banquet. Took the boys on tours of the police station, hwy patrol
and county jail. They boys went home with certifcates and a note they
needed to finish the essays and submit it to their Commanders for their
approval.
We got pre approval to bring the boys to each of these stations. Food
and cost was only 10.00 per person.
It was fun and our first time. This was all done in a Lockin at one of
our Local Churches. Some of the boys who already had any of the 4 merits
had time to work on their advancements with a commander there to help
them.
The boys need breaks every hour and some fun time as well. Lights out
bring ear plugs!
