Royal Ranger policy is such that Spirit Rider
can do what ever he wants to reach a boy.
No where in Ranger resources is there published
reasons for adhearing to the prudent "2 Deep"
Leadership as in Scouts.
The "2 Deep" Idea is that with a group of three
or more..
(One Leader- 2 boys or 2 leaders-one boy)
...all would have a "second" to proclaim innocence.
Other situations that are sticky, are when one
boy is left following a outing and you take him
home. *Of course you are doing him a "favor"
but you are risking much if anything is challenged.
Our "belief" is that our Churches would back us,
but the fact is that we would be on our own to
defend our integrity in court, and what you risk
is your personal fortune and good name.
