*More important than leading a Boy to Christ is
assureing him and his parents of his safety. You
will not overload a van, and you will insist he
wear a seatbelt. You will assign a "Buddy" to allways
be with him. There will be no hazeing, bully's or
disrespect for personal convictions, if they are
voiced. You don't allow boys to run with sticks,
play in the fire or tie hangmans nooses in the
trees.
If a boy in your Outpost needs first aid, or
other care.. You will render aid even if it
requires you to miss your *ministry at the alter.
In every word and deed before the boys, you will
be above reproach in all your actions. *If you
mash yur thumb with a 24oz waffleheaded hammer..
You will proclaim a "positive word"<G> and use
the experiance to promote proper tool safety in
a "Teachible moment".
Your job as a Commander is to provide a safe harbor, a
refuge to all boys. You are to be mindfull of their
innocent morality and prefer them to yourself.
You do this.. *In Love.
You do this for them, for you and for your family.
You as the Adult are the responsible party.
