Good Morning Commanders,
My name is Shea Murphy. I am a Challenger for Outpost 17 in Hannibal,
Missouri. I am the Senior Guide for my outpost. My commanders, Lewis and
Shelly Bode, let me borrow there email for a bit in order to do some
research for next summer. The boys in our Trailblazer-Challenger patrol
would like to take a special trip early next summer. I realize that
camporama is next July, but this is just for something different. Wherever
we go our commanders have stated that we must meet up with an outpost once
we have reached our destination. I think that is a cool idea. The one main
stipulation is that our destination can be no more than 15 hours one way.
We are talking about doing this for about 3-5 days. So we need a location
where we can do alot of stuff. One of the main reasons for wanting this
trip is, I am in a boy scout troop that goes just about everywhere. This
past summer my scout troop went to Florida to go scuba diving. I told the
others about trips that my scout troop has taken and they got excited. Half
of my ranger patrol attended JLTC this past summer. But we just wanted
something a little different. I would say non-ranger, but that's not gonna
happen with my commanders. They're cool. It seems that anytime that 2 or
more are together we end up do ranger work. Thanks for all yoour help.
