*Mighty fine and a great big Rangernet HOWDY!

It's allways a privilage to hear from the REAL Rangers!

Tell us about your Outpost, the boys and what you thinking
about Leadership and goal setting.. I'd like to know what
you expect as a ranger from what you see in the handbooks and
where you see the Outpost headed.

The boys in our Trailblazer-Challenger patrol

I live far west of you.. so I don't have a place for you in mind,
but I do have a "destination"..

First, let the planning fire the dreams of the entire patrol.
Sell it anyway you can, and make sure that at least one part of the
dream happens for sure<G>

The place you want to be is where everyone can feel good about
meeting the challange and takeing care of your self outdoors.

As you describe the adventure, include everyone in it as a team.
Write down the adventure, and give it a timeline and include
a "plan B" for weather changes ect.

One of the main reasons for wanting this

Cool Runnings man.. *Sea Base!

My Son Josh is GMA#3911 and went sailing on a 50'sailboat down
to key west with his scout troop. That's the adventure you want
for RR but logistics have to sized down to fit your Outpost.<G>

I'm with you amigo...

Use the best of what you know to improve the Ranger buddies
that you know who want more outdoor scout style adventure.
Help them with confidence and with understanding the "Patrol"
is key.

Do it with everything you got, but also back RR in it's
ministry to boys! You have to walk that "line" and know
your limits. Work to raise the "morale" of everyone you
meet and live by the Ranger code and the Scout law<G>

I'm proud of yah!
