The past two years I actually got a Federal income tax refund when in the two years before, we paid upwards of a thousand dollars more in April. But the best reason we are better off is that as we recieved increases in pay, we paid down our bills instead of making new ones. Other than lower taxes, The government didn't have anything to do with our improvement. As a side note, vote your convictions and please don't tranform this forum into a political arena.
