What do you mean save several hours? When I teach adult CPR and first aid (Red Cross) the course is 6 hours. The speed is a function of the class size, ability of the participants to grasp and demonstrate the skills taught, etc. As for buying the books, you must be taking the class at the Chapter house. I "library" my books, which means you look at them during class and do not get to take them home with you. What does the explorer patch look like? I might have one.
