On a related note... I was listening to NPR on my way home from work today. An NPR news person was interviewing Gary Bauer. After questioning Gary for a minute or so, the interviewer asked something to the effect of, "Isn't it wrong for a person to make decisions in a voting booth based on their religious convictions?" Gary's response let her off the hook with a very broad answer covering people's motives. I'm not sure if she realized she was suggesting that people shouldn't make decisions based on what they believe. She apparently thinks Christians shouldn't.
