I'm waiting until Saturday. Seven Star Trek movies came out and the last ones from # 5 on My wife made me miss them in the theatre. This time for this Star Wars movie we are going to go see it in the theatre. I remember I saw the first one in 1977 with my father. I was 7 years old at the time. I was into Superman the Movie, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Sasquatch, (all movies that were out in 1977 -79) I loved the Star wars movies because the Kenner company made the little action figures that I used to collect. (now if I only still had any of those) Now here it is 28 years later, and this movie series is finally coming to a close.
I find it interesting that Natalie Portman the actress who plays Padme Amidala was not even born when the the first one came out in 1977, yet she is supposed to be Luke and Leia's Mother. It's interesting that both Annikin and Luke get their right hand chopped off in lightsabre accidents. Like father like son.
Padme is a pretty name and a unique one too. I wonder if people would name their daughters that after the movies?
