I agree with everything and on both sides of the issue on Uniforms.
I too have 6 or 7 uniforms. A NTC uniform, A sectional Commanders Uniform,
A Sr. Commanders Uniform and now a Area Commanders Uniform as well as two
short sleeve field uniforms with only bare minuium patches on them...they
are also slightly stained and worn. They are better than a T-shirt and
still convey Royal Rangers - Boy Scout Image. I have another dozen RR tee
shirts but they don't even come close identifing like the RR uniform kaki.
Settleing for a t-shirt as a uniform is the first step in shorting out a
good royal ranger program.
Show me a outpost that has all Rangers in class b uniforms every wed night
and you will find them also doing the rest of the program even better. It's
a standard thing and it really does make a difference. I have seen both in
action and hands down from my experience it's the outpost that puts on the
kaki that brings ALL points of the RR emblem in to a good balance.
It is funny though. Have you checked your white socks under your black
socks to be sure they are still white?
