Basicly you can purchase the pistol or use a 177 cal pellet gun bring it to Rangers for a premeeting time. ONLY boys in uniform get to shoot for the big prize and everyone who wears a uniform gets a blow pop or piece of candy. The big prize is a 4 - 7 dollar item and it may not be given out if they don't hit the mystery target (you pick it out and keep it secret). I use balloons on a bulletin board and sometimes used a dart board to keep them guessing. This is a premeeting game. I did award the prizes during the opening ceremony. It won't be long before they start showing up in full kaki uniforms. Don't settle for a t-shirt. Where can you pin merits on a t-shirt? This is a good time to have a "How do I get my son in a uniform" handout. I saw this take my outpost from me and my commanders wearing uniforms to everyone wearing them every wed night. Ever seen a outpost of 100 men and boys in full class b kaki? It can happen if you put the standard before them and help them to stay excited about it.
