27F going up to 41 today and camp'n in the winter is just a matter of
keeping dry.
Todays gear is the best there has every been.. but still the rules of
survival apply.
*Think.. Don't let the boots get soaked or the cold will steal your joy..
Happiness is dry thick wool socks and fine German army wool trousers.
A steel barrel, shot full holes for air- loaded with burning tree branches..
and a simple tarp goes a long way outdoors on a cold day.
*I found the Tipi perfect in the snow with a dry haybale applied to the
ground and everyone spread out like a wagon wheel in sleeping bags
covered with a DRY wool army blanket..
Sorry to repete.. but again *I say.. Stay dry!
*No need for Mr.Heater in a well made winter camp.
->A No.1*<-
