I personally think that Israel is in a defense posture, not an offense posture. but what do I know about it. I'm just an arrogant American who knows what's best for the entire world. (as he said with a sarcastic sigh).
They're willing to do what it takes to survive, but not at the expense of annihilating their people. though that's been tried in numerous ways throughout history without success. Israel, the country, in 2007, and Israel, the remnant of God, should not always be interconnected. though 1949 is certainly significant in Biblical prophecy The Bible talks about how His people are spread throughout the nations. and how not until the great tribulation shall their collective (spiritual) light bulbs come on.
