The Human Resources Department is currently accepting applications for the position of
AS400 System Support Manager to be attached to the Global Operations Dept. The
requirements are as follow:
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will lead a team of administrators to provide 7 x 24 hours AS400
systems support within the Asia Pacific region, including the following:
· Ensure the stability, availability, reliability and performance of AS400
systems and its applications.
· Effectively monitor and control the system resources.
· Provide 2nd level support of fault management of AS400 systems and its
applications.
· Develop, review, document and update detailed system administration policies,
operation procedures and inventory of all hardware and software.
· Coordinate and manage global projects within Asia Pacific.
· Some traveling within Asia Pacific and the headquarters is expected.
Requirements:
· Recognised Degree in Computing with strong technical knowledge in AS400 systems
· Minimum 5 years regional hands-on experience in AS400 operation and 7 x 24
hours support.
· Must have good leadership skills and the ability to deal with complex business
and organizational issues.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Quality and service oriented.
