Selain aksi tanggap darurat untuk menyelamatkan para korban dari banjir dan longsor, tim juga berupaya untuk memberikan bantuan awal untuk para pengungsi yang sudah dievakuasi ke tenda-tenda. Kebutuhan mendasar seperti makanan instan, air bersih, alat-alat kesehatan dll sudah mulai didistribusikan dan kebutuhannya semakin meningkat seiring akan didirikannya kembali tambahan tenda bagi para pengungsi.
