I should probably point out that I have done an update of dependencies.
Oh... right, if I set the turn off the offline preference of M2Eclipse I
can build the project. Then turn it back on again and everything seems fine.
(I'm really starting to remember why I disliked Maven when I looked at
it years ago - too many strange and unpredicatable behaviours for me
liking, I'm a control freak ;-))
