I

+1
Would it be useful to create a release branch anyway?
That is a question for the community. I was planning on only creating a
release branch for major releases (1.0, 2.0, etc).
I guess its a case of how long trunk development is likely to be "frozen" while
the wheels of the Apache release process are turning
As soon as Matt starts the release process, the current trunk will be tagged and
thereby frozen itself, and trunk thereafter opens up for further development
right away (0.2-SNAPSHOT), regardless of how long the release process takes.

I will do it
Can someone validate? It should be set, but I am not going to say
"DONE"
until everyone agrees.
Hi Matt,
I don't even have the time to do svn up right now, but looking at just
the svn
commit message I noticed one N&L addition which I think isn't needed:
AFAIK we don't rely nor use/include anything from Zend Framework
(PHP).
The Shindig PHP version might do, but we don't use that.
It was in the Shindig NOTICE file so I just added it. I didn't even
think
about it being the Zend PHP framework :) I will remove it once
everyone
else (including other mentors) take a look and note any issues.
Other than that, seems pretty good and complete to me, but if possible
I'd
prefer other mentors to also review and validate as well.
However, if none has time shortly, I'd say we probably covered the N&L
requirements (more than) good enough for a first time release.
