Hi Jasha, I gather that counts for a +1 :) ?
Concerning rave-common, the "common" part is that it can be used both by
provider engines (e.g. shindig, read: rave-shindig) as well as the portal
(components) themselves.
The rave-core really is only meant for rave-portal (components).
If/when we further centralize/generalize the persistence model it is my
expectation this will then be done in/moved to rave-common.
